RFP - Stafford EPA Brownfields Assessment Program

The Town of Stafford, CT was awarded a $300,000 Brownfields Assessment Grant by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) during their FY2019 competition. The Town of Stafford, CT is soliciting proposals from Licensed Site Professionals (LSPs) with proven expertise performing environmental site assessments, management plans, quality assurance project plans, groundwater and soil sampling, remediation planning, cost estimates and cost control, and community outreach and public presentations. VISION GOVERNMENT SOLUTIONS TO CONDUCT STAFFORD REVALUATION

The Appraisal Firm of Vision Government Solutions, Inc. has been hired by Stafford to perform the 2020 town-wide Revaluation Project as mandated by the State of Connecticut. Over the next year, representatives from Vision will be verifying information currently on file with the Assessor’s office as well as visiting properties that recently sold, with open building permits, or known physical changes. Data mailers will be sent to verify property information. All Vision Representatives will be wearing an identification badge and their vehicles will be registered with the police department. Homeowners are encouraged to ask for this identification prior to admitting anyone into their homes. If a homeowner has a question as to the identity of a Vision representative, they may call the police or the Assessor’s Office for further confirmation. For more detailed information concerning the revaluation process contact the Assessor’s office.

Public Notice West Stafford Fire Department 144 West Stafford Road Stafford Springs, CT 06076-1012 The West Stafford Fire Department is welcoming invitations to bid on snow removal for the winter season 2019-2020 at the firehouse on 144 West Stafford Road, Stafford Springs, CT 06076. The West Stafford Fire Department reserves the right to reject any offer that is deemed not in the best interest of the organization.
