We are truly thankful for each of our dedicated police officers who serve and defend our town. While each is essential, it’s no secret that Officer Jose Martinez continues to go above and beyond, not just working for Stafford, but as a genuine part of our community.

"Memories of Stafford" Community Writing Project

Sharing stories brings us together and is the hallmark of a connected community. The Stafford 300th Anniversary Committee and Stafford Public Library are now seeking submissions for “Stafford Memories,” a collaborative community writing project. The group hopes to collect memories and anecdotes about Stafford, with stories inspired by ordinary life, funny incidents, specific town events or warm reminisces of your childhood, among others. Collected submissions will be published in a book and shared at the library and throughout community.

We are asking past and current residents for a brief (500 words or less) written piece. Guidelines and story submissions can be found at staffordct300.com/stafford memories or by emailing staffordct300@gmail.com.

The deadline for submissions is March 31. With questions, please contact Chris Frank at the Stafford Library, (860) 684-2852.
